    Practice problems / Merge intervals

    Merge intervals

    Mediumarraysortingintervals

    Each element [start, end] is a time interval (like live-session slots). Merge any that overlap or touch, and return the result sorted by start.

    Example 1

    Input:  intervals = [[1,3],[2,6],[8,10],[15,18]]
    Output: [[1,6],[8,10],[15,18]]

    Example 2

    Input:  intervals = [[1,4],[4,5]]
    Output: [[1,5]]

    Constraints

    • 1 ≤ intervals.length ≤ 10⁴
    • 0 ≤ start ≤ end ≤ 10⁴

    Submit checks your solution against 7 tests, including hidden ones.

    /**
     * @param {int[][]} intervals
     * @return {int[][]}
     */
    function mergeIntervals(intervals) {

    }
